Fanta: Limited Edition and Campaign for the Cinema Release of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”

Fanta is gearing up for the biggest Halloween yet through a global collaboration with the highly anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. From product innovations to immersive experiences inspired by the film’s ‘Afterlife’, the brand will invite fans to “Summon What You Wanta” by finding unexpected and exciting ways to celebrate the spookiest season of the year.

Rolling out across the globe, “Summon What You Wanta” builds on the brand’s longstanding association with Halloween with a call to curate the holiday they really want(a).

“Fanta is committed to liberating wants in a world that glorifies needs,” said Danae Blanco, Marketing Director at The Coca‑Cola Company. “Holidays are normally linked to traditions and obligations, but Halloween presents the freedom for Gen Z to fully own the occasion and define their experiences on their terms, from what they do to who they spend time with.”

The partnership kicks off with a limited-edition Fanta Beetlejuice (apple flavor), with packaging featuring the mischievous character (portrayed by Michael Keaton) and his signature black and white stripes. The rest of the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cast will grace bottles and cans of the full Fanta range this season, including (flavors vary by market): Orange (Astrid, played by Jenna Ortega), Strawberry (Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder), Pineapple (Delia Deetz, played by Catherine O’Hara), Grape (Delores, played by Monica Bellucci), Lemon, (Wolf Jackson, played by Willem Dafoe) and Strawberry Kiwi, (Bob the Shrinker!).

On-pack QR codes can be scanned for access to exclusive physical and digital activations inspired by the Afterlife, including the chance to win tickets to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in theaters. Glow-in-the-dark packaging technology will bring an added dash of fun to consumers in Australia and select European markets.

A series of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice-themed virtual and in-person experiences will roll out over the coming weeks.
