DIWISA is now offering three of its products in reusable containers from ecoSPIRITS

DIWISA AG, a leading Swiss producer of spirits, is now offering three of its products in environmentally considerate ecoTOTE containers. This decision underscores the company’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Innovative reusable containers from ecoSPIRITS are used for the Swiss brands Silvus Dry Gin, Goldwaescher Rye Whisky and Sidian Organic Vodka.

From a global perspective, these containers make a significant contribution to reducing the CO2 emissions typically generated by the production and recycling of conventional glass bottles. This is why large international spirits manufacturers look to sustainable packaging, especially in the pouring spirits segment, i.e. where bottle consumption is highest. ecoTOTEs can be reused more than 100 times.

Part of a growing trend in the gastronomy sector

The use of local raw materials, their processing in Willisau and the subsequent filling into ecoTOTEs by licensee ecoDRINKS in Eglisau minimises transport miles. The use of ecoTOTEs is also part of a growing trend in the gastronomy sector, which aims to use local products to reduce the use of glass bottles, prepare drinks (known as pre-batching) and differentiate products.
